Shairaana Shaam 2019

After the success of “Shayarana Shaam 2018” program, the public craved for more entertainment of music and poetry; the demand from the public created the “Shaiarana Shaam 2019”. Ghazal Manch treated the audience with the very talented Sufi and ghazal singer Sukhdev Sahil from California. Sahil was a shining light and he transported the audience to another world with his talent, it was an encapsulating experience. In addition, Ghazal Manch hosted a well-known poet Kulwinder from California as well. Kulwinder’s ghazal presentation was a treat for the audience and his poetry held the hall in a state of intrigue.

The program continued and the following poets presented their poetry: Narinder Bhagi, Dashmesh Gill Firoze, Krishan Bhanot, Hardam Mann, Gurmeet Sidhu, Bindhoo Matharu, Jatinder Lasara, Kavinder Chaand, Preet Manpreet, Inderjit Dhami, Davinder Gautam, Rajwant Raj, Nadeem Parmar, Kulwinder and Jaswinder. 

The reviews of “Shayarana Shaam” continued to be a success in various media outlets. There was even a bigger demand from the public for another poetry event. We were successful in presenting to the community a highly organized event with poets and singers.

For the first time, California-based Punjabi ghazalgo Kulwinder participated in the event. Kulwinder, who is a scientist by profession, is a great signatory of Punjabi ghazals.
