Krishan Bhanot's Book Release

Ghazal Manch Surrey proudly organized a book release event for one of its founding members, his eighth book of ghazal poetry 'Paonon De Naksh'. This event was held at Indo Canadian Senior Centre 7050 120 Street Surrey at 1.30 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Poet Rajwant Raj prepared an analysis to present the review of Bhanot Sahib’s book. Rajwant stated that he was honored to be standing in front of his mentor to review his book and he thanked ustad Krishan Bhanot for the opportunity. Rajwant delved into the deeper multilayered poetry in the book and he stated that the quality of language used in his book is a testament to the quality of his work. Bhanot Sahib’s ability to frame emotional depth into metaphors is truly an art of the Punjabi language and the silent language of a poet.

Numerous poets and singers took to the stage to recognize Bhanot Sahib for the release of his book. Speakers included Davinder Gautam, Dashmesh Gill Feroz, Kamal Bhanot, Balvir Dhillon, Meenu Bawa, Bikar Khosa and others. Ustad Krishan Bhanot thanked all the literary personalities, poets, family and guests.
