Baldev Seehra was born in Punjab. Baldev’s major in college was botany and he taught his passion of botany as a professor at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College in Punjab, India. Baldev immigrated to Fiji and continued his passion in botany as a professor. Baldev then immigrated to Canada and settled there with his family. Baldev’s journey of poetry began when he would write letters to his wife. Baldev credits Ghazal ustad Krishan Bhanot for showing him the ropes of ghazal poetry and he appreciates his continued support. Baldev is an active member of Ghazal Manch Surrey and he is a key player in the activities of Ghazal Manch Surrey.
