Literary Event at Sidhu Family's Wedding Celebration

Surrey, September 15, 2023: On the occasion of their son's wedding, the Sidhu family here did an exclusive act by organizing a mehfil of local poets in their yard. Local poets created a very happy atmosphere through their works in the celebration of the marriage of Manveer Singh Sidhu, son of literature-lover Ajaib Singh Sidhu and nephew of Ghazal-poet Gurmeet Singh Sidhu.

This beautiful evening started with the welcome words of Gurmeet Singh Sidhu. Then Rajwant Raj, the stage-conductor and poet of Ghazal Manch Surrey, started the Kavi Darbar with Inderjit Dhami's kalam. In the poetry festival, Ustad Krishna Bhanot, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Palwinder Randhawa, Mohan Gill, Kavinder Chand, Bindoo Matharu, Darshan Sangha, Hardam Mann, Davinder Gautam, Sukhjit Kaur, Dashmesh Gill Feroze, Major Singh Randhawa, Preet Manpreet, Sukhwinder Chohla, Surjit Madhopuri, Rajwant Raj, Jaswinder and Gurmeet. Singh Sidhu graced the party with their poetic colors. Famous artist Jarnail Singh and eminent novelist Jarnail Singh Sekha congratulated the Sidhu family and said that today the Sidhu brothers have found a unique and commendable way of celebration by inviting the poets in their courtyard. At the end, Ajaib Singh Sidhu thanked all the poets and said that it is our good fortune that dear poets set foot in our yard and added to the celebration of the wedding.
